Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all technical activities related to slag yard operations, including slag handling, cooling, and disposal processes.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the reliability and safety of slag yard equipment and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and environmental teams to optimize slag processing and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and analyze slag yard performance metrics to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company safety standards in all slag yard activities.
• Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of operational issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare and manage budgets related to slag yard operations, including resource allocation and procurement of materials.
• Collaborate with engineering design teams to plan and execute upgrades or expansions of slag yard facilities.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and safety awareness.
