Fores Elastomech is seeking a procurement professional in India to manage vendor relationships and end-to-end supply chain activities. The role focuses on planning, forecasting and ensuring timely material availability to support production.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in operations and data analysis using spreadsheet tools like Excel, with a hands-on approach to process improvement and supplier collaboration.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in operations, planning and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Vendor management: identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality goods and services.
• Purchase planning: develop and execute purchase plans aligned with production schedules and inventories.
• Order processing: manage purchase orders, track deliveries and ensure timely material receipt.
• Compliance and documentation: maintain procurement records and ensure adherence to policies and statutory requirements.
• Cross-functional coordination: collaborate with production, finance and logistics to streamline supply chain operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience of 3 to 5 years with operations, planning and forecasting
• Knowledge in the use of computer software, such as spreadsheet applications (i.e., Microsoft Excel) for data analysis is preferred.
