Job summary

Macquarie Group in India is looking for a data analytics professional to support client fulfilment within the CGM reporting stream. You will build data-driven reports and dashboards to enable decision-making and regulatory/compliance accuracy.

You will partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver end-to-end reporting solutions, conduct deep-dive analyses, and drive transformation initiatives within a complex data environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree or higher in Information Management, Data Science, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3+ years experience in a complex data environment.
• Experience using SQL and visualization tools such as PowerBI.
• Experience in Alteryx or Dataiku is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels.

• Pro-actively partner with a wide range of stakeholders including senior leaders globally.
• Build and maintain reports to support decision making and guidance for regulatory, risk, and client-facing needs.
• Lead end-to-end development of reporting and analytics solutions and drive data-driven transformation initiatives.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Client Fulfilment team within Commodities and Global Markets (CGM). Our team is responsible for ensuring client data across the global CGM group is accurate, complete, timely, and fit for purpose for regulatory, risk, client-facing, and internal business use.

What role will you play?

In this role you will pro-actively partner with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior stakeholders, Financial Crime Risk and leaders across the Client Services team globally. You will build and maintain reports that you will leverage to provide decision support and advice to stakeholders and drive end to end development of reporting and analytical solutions. You will develop data driven, insightful metrics and conduct deep dive analysis into the organisation’s datasets whilst leading and driving reporting and data analytics related projects and transformation initiatives.
