Job summary

Macquarie Group in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and run mission-critical systems powering EFT creation and redemption, order management, and post-trade workflows across regions and asset classes.

You will build microservices and data pipelines using Java, Angular, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and GCP/BigQuery, owning features end-to-end from requirements to deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 9–14 years of hands-on full-stack experience with Java, Spring Boot and Angular/React.
• Strong system design skills and solid SQL and database fundamentals.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and global collaboration.
• Experience with message-based integration tools in financial services.
• Self-starter who owns projects and drives them to completion.
• Strong communicator across engineering and business teams.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of trading, post-trade, and regulatory reporting solutions across front-office platforms and enterprise systems. The role involves building scalable microservices, integrations, and data pipelines using technologies such as Java, Angular, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and GCP/BigQuery to support real-time trading and large-scale reporting. You will own features end-to-end, from requirements and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
