Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a DevOps-focused role to support Equity Derivatives Middle Office platforms, working with developers and business analysts to implement functionality and ensure robust production deployments.

You will engage in unit testing, regression packs, and ongoing production support, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism while collaborating across global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with modern frontend and backend tech stack (Angular, Java, Node.js, Spring Boot).
• Familiarity with GenAI tools such as Claude and related AI technologies.
• Solid SQL/Postgres skills and experience with message-based integrations.

What role will you play?

In this role, you'll be working with Developers and Business Analysts to implement the functionality and write unit test and regression pack. You will also participate in production deployment and upgrade tasks. Production support is a key learning component of the role, enabling you to engage directly with users of the system and ensure the stability of the production environment, and ensure that quality standards and a high level of professionalism are maintained at all times.

What you offer

• 4-8 years of hand-on experience in Front end and backend Tech including Angular, Java, Node.js and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Claude or other AI/GenAI tools.
• Strong SQL and database experience, preferably Postgres
• Strong experience with message-based business integration.
• Excellent problem solving and design skills.
• Knowledge of financial domain is advantageous.
