Title

Executive Application Engineer

Job Summary

• DME with 5-10 years experience or BE in Mechanical / Industrial Production with 5-8 years experience in Application Engineering & proof of automotive components on HMC/VMC
• Good process knowledge of machining of 2‑wheelers & 4‑wheelers: engine, transmission and braking components
• Hands‑on experience in application engineering on VMC / HMC
• NC part programming on Fanuc, Sinumerik, Heidenhain & Mazatrol controllers
• Exposure to macro programming, auto work measurement (Renishaw / Marposs)
• Exposure to latest cutting tools
• Ability to understand component drawings in detail
• Knowledge of quality requirements, CMM and inspection processes
• Exposure to calculation of process capability
• Exposure to different types of fixture concepts for VMC & HMC
• Strong communication skills
• Awareness of hydraulic, pneumatic and coolant circuits
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or other 3‑D tools)

Key Job Responsibilities

• Part programming and proving out components at customer locations
• Willing to be stationed at customer location for 1‑3 month projects
• Knowledge of fixture assembly and concepts
• Troubleshoot fixtures
• Comprehensive knowledge of tooling
• Interface with customer for project execution and completion

• Strong ability to understand customer issues and tackle problems independently; comfortable taking responsibility and meeting customer expectations
