Job summary

Sonata Software in Bengaluru/Hyderabad seeks an Exchange Customer Engineer to manage on-premises, hybrid, and cloud Exchange environments, delivering high-availability solutions and data migrations while engaging with customer stakeholders.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience planning deployments and optimizing Exchange environments (on-premises, hybrid, online).
Experience with Exchange Server high availability and performance.
Experience with data migration and security/compliance concepts.

Job Title: Exchange Customer Engineer

Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad

Experience level: 8-20 years

Skills Required

Experience with customer facing roles in systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base, advanced troubleshooting and SharePoint customization and development.

BA/BS (or higher) in Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical support and solutions to customers.
Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on premises, hybrid, and online Exchange environment and solutions.
Proven track record maintaining Exchange Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Proven track record managing and maintaining Exchange Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Advanced experience managing and maintaining Exchange Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience planning and executing migrations from legacy email systems to Exchange Server.
Knowledge and experience developing migration strategies and timelines to minimize downtime and disruption.
Experience performing data migration, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the process.
Knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
Experience with email retention and compliance solutions.
Experience with hybrid Exchange environments.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.

Optional Skills

Advanced knowledge of the use of Graph API
Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
Well architected framework (and implementation of concepts)
Cloud adoption framework (and implementation of concepts)
