Job summary

Sonata Software invites a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer focused on Windows 365, Intune, and MECM. You will design, deploy, and maintain hybrid/ cloud-enabled desktop environments, working directly with Microsoft customers to align with modernization goals.

The role requires deep expertise in VDI, endpoint management tooling, and PowerShell scripting, with a track record of guiding customers through complex upgrades and optimization of Win365 deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of depth expertise in virtual desktop infrastructure and modern endpoint management.
• Experience presenting to customer leadership and acting as a consultant/architect for multiple clients.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 365, Intune/Co-Management, and modern management tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and assess health of Windows 365 infrastructure and configuration management.
• Upgrade, update, and maintain Win365 environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize for performance.
• Assist with reporting and training on Win365 management.

Job Title: Infrastructure Windows 365 / Intune / MECM Customer Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Windows 365 / Intune / MECM Customer Engineer to join our team. This role involves working directly with our Microsoft customers to provide strategic and proactive assistance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting Windows Client environments and a strong understanding of hybrid infrastructures and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Deploy, Review and Assess the health of the infrastructure and clients around Windows 365 service and associated configuration management requirements of these services
• Upgrade, update and maintain the Win365 environment
• Troubleshoot issues with infrastructure and clients
• Tune and optimize for performance
• Assist with reporting
• Assist in setting up Management with Intune
• Assist in planning, reviewing and troubleshooting Software Updates feature
• Assist in planning, reviewing and troubleshooting Task Sequences
• Provide training in all areas of Win365 and its ongoing management to ensure customer goals are met

Ideal candidate experience:

• 8+ years working as a depth expert and technology owner or consultant around virtual desktop infrastructure and modern endpoint management
• Ability to present to multiple levels of customer leadership.
• Ability to act as a consultant and architect for multiple customers.
• Win365/Windows Desktop using associated modern management tooling
• Package/Application creation
• Desktop OS Upgrades using different approaches
• Intune and Co‑Management experience
• SSRS Reporting and/or PowerBI experience
• PowerShell scripting
• Deep level knowledge in at least 3 of the above categories
