Job summary

You will perform 3D electrostatic and EMI/EMC simulations, collaborate with system engineers, and validate results against data to strengthen confidence in designs.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronics Engineering post-graduate degree.
• Strong electromagnetic domain knowledge.
• 3+ years in electrical simulation for automotive OEM or supplier.
• Experience with Ansys Maxwell and COMSOL; CAD tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D finite element electrostatic and EMI/EMC simulations for EV components.
• Model CAD, run simulations and validate against experimental data.

Position Description: Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer - Thermal & Electrical Simulation, Simulation & Data, Electromobility

We are currently looking for passionate engineer to join Electromobility team in the Electrical Simulation domain for Energy Storage System Battery Packs.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Perform 3D Finite element electrostatic and electromagnetic(EMI/EMC) simulation for electric vehicle components (Eg: Energy storage system, E-Motor, DC-DC)
• Model the component CAD, perform simulations and validate results against experimental data to improve simulation confidence
• Collaborate with system engineers to integrate electromagnetic designs with overall system requirements.
• Analyze simulation outputs to improve the design and propose solutions.

Required skills and experience:

• Electrical/Electronics Engineering Post-Graduate or equivalent education.
• Strong domain knowledge in electromagnetic domain required.
• Simulation tool experience of Ansys Maxwell and COMSOL preferred along with any CAD tool experience
• At least 3+ years of experience within electrical simulation domain within automotive industry for an OEM or a supplier
• Excellent communication skills to convey the simulation outputs to global stakeholders
