Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering graduate or post-graduate requirement.
• Experience in fatigue, vibration and static analysis, preferably in powertrain.
• Automation skills using Python or scripting.
• Good understanding of powertrain technology, materials, parts and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculation and simulation on Powertrain components and systems.
• Define loads and boundary conditions for components/systems.
• Mesh components with required quality (tetra, shell).
• Virtually verify components/systems.
• Optimize components/systems to reduce weight/cost.
• Provide input to concept, component and system selection.
• Interact with global design team – take inputs, run analysis, write and present technical reports

Job Description

Qualifications And Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering Graduate or Post-graduate
• Experience in Fatigue analysis, Vibration analysis, Static analysis. Preferably in Powertrain domain – Engines, Driveline (Axles, Gear boxes, etc.)
• Software skill required: Ansys APDL, Abaqus and ANSA

Automation skills - Using Python or any scripting

• Good understanding of Powertrain technology, materials knowledge, awareness of powertrain parts and accessories.
• Strong commitment to deliver on time with consistent and strict adherence to quality.
