Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 14+ years of experience to lead comprehensive financial operations including O2C, P2P, R2R, treasury, taxation, and governance. This role involves steering monthly closings, audits, and internal controls while managing a 30+ member team and coordinating with bankers and regulators.

You will partner with the CFO to drive profitable growth through strategic analyses and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 14+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization, handling all aspects of financial operations.
• Experience in a fast-paced organization / start-up environment.
• Proficiency in technical aspects of accounting.
• Should have handled teams of at least 20+ team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Financial Operations: Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Treasury, Taxation, Governance and Controls.
• Ensure monthly financial closing and financial hygiene of the books.
• Lead statutory audits, internal audits, due diligence as per timelines.
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline processes and operations.
• Drive correct and timely invoicing and collections from customers.
• Monitor and drive Working Capital Management and Funds Management.
• Responsible for relationship management with various bankers and lenders.
• Ensure statutory compliances with respect to laws and regulations.
• Lead a 30+ member team and ensure delivery of KPIs, KRAs, and development conversations.
• Interact with key stakeholders regarding governance, compliances and business operations.
• Partner CFO on driving growth and profitability through initiatives and analysis.
• Undertake any other activities as informed by CFO.
