Job summary

Shavish Group seeks an experienced ETP Supervisor to manage daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and monitor wastewater treatment processes.

You will supervise the ETP team, maintain operating logs and chemical consumption records, and coordinate with maintenance and production teams to resolve issues while ensuring safe handling of chemicals and adherence to MPCB requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in ETP operations and wastewater treatment.
• Understanding of pH, TDS, COD, BOD and water quality testing.
• Strong record-keeping, reporting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the ETP and ensure smooth functioning.
• Monitor wastewater treatment processes and key parameters (pH, TDS, COD, BOD).
• Ensure proper chemical dosing, sludge handling and disposal per regulations.
• Monitor pumps, motors, pipelines, dosing systems and other ETP equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and routine inspections to avoid breakdowns.
• Collect wastewater samples and coordinate laboratory testing as needed.
• Maintain ETP operating logs, treatment records and chemical consumption records.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards and MPCB requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production and EHS teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of treatment chemicals and follow safety procedures.
• Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and ensure smooth functioning.
• Monitor wastewater treatment processes, including pH, TDS, COD, BOD and other relevant parameters.
• Ensure proper chemical dosing, sludge handling and disposal as per applicable regulations.
• Monitor pumps, motors, pipelines, dosing systems and other ETP equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
• Collect wastewater samples and coordinate laboratory testing as required.
• Maintain ETP operating logs, treatment records, chemical consumption records and compliance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental standards and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) requirements.
• Coordinate with the maintenance, production and EHS teams to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of treatment chemicals and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions to improve treatment efficiency.
