Job summary

Jobtailor in Pune seeks a data engineer specializing in SQL Server to design and maintain data solutions with best practices. You will collaborate with developers and analysts to automate ETL processes and ensure data reliability.

The role covers monitoring, performance tuning, backups, and disaster recovery planning, with daily job scheduling and security considerations. A CS degree with strong SQL/T-SQL skills is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with complicated SSIS Package coding and maintenance.
• Create ETL packages. (Mandatory on SSIS, Knowledge of other ETL is good to have).
• Experience in creation of SQL Tables, Views, MV’s, Stored Procedures and working on complex T- SQL statements.
• Expert knowledge in traditional relational database concepts and design. Fluent in SQL.
• Database design and query optimization.
• Write and debug stored procedures and ability in advanced SQL operations.
• Should possess skill to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot daily jobs using SQL Server Agent.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
