Overview

Job Title: Data Engineer – SQL/ETL

Location: Pan India

Experience: 5+ years in SQL/ETL development; 5+ years in DBMS development, ETL tools, and data engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Design and implement database objects, schemas, and stored procedures to support analytical needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data access and support for reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across multiple systems.
• Support automation of ETL jobs and monitor execution.
• Contribute to Agile development processes and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications / Mandatory Skills

• DBMS Development: Strong experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• ETL Development: Hands-on experience with SSIS or other ETL tools and automation jobs.
• Data Modeling & DB Design: Expertise in designing database objects, schemas, and optimized queries.
• Data Analysis & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and troubleshoot issues.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile practices and tools like Jira.
• Version Control: Experience using GitHub for collaboration and code management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to meet data and reporting requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or knowledge of MongoDB.
• Experience or knowledge of Snowflake DB.
• Exposure to AI/ML projects.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices for CI/CD.
