Job description

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS and other data integration tools to support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.
• Work extensively with SQL Server to extract, transform, and load data efficiently, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visual analytics using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar visualization platforms.
• Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to improve performance and reduce processing time.
• Monitor performance of database systems, track resource utilization, and troubleshoot query throughput issues.
• Collaborate with BI teams, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Develop scripts in Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
• Perform data validation, data quality checks, and ensure timely delivery of processed datasets.
• Prepare documentation, maintain ETL logs, and adhere to project timelines and coding standards.
• Continuously learn and apply concepts related to normalization, SQL best practices, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.

Candidate Profile

• Good experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Plotly, Pandas, etc.).
• Strong hands‑on experience in SSIS, ETL processes, and SQL Server.
• Prior experience as a BI Data Engineer.
• Proficient in SQL with strong query debugging and optimization skills.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience in building dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Ability to monitor and optimize database and system performance.
• Familiar with scripting, normalization, OS basics, and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage tasks independently within deadlines.
