Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work for mechanical projects.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems, as applicable.
• Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and labour cost calculations.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, project, and commercial teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential cost risks in tender documents.
• Prepare rate analysis for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontract works.
• Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and technical clarifications.
• Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and historical project pricing information.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimisation while ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Support post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and handover of awarded projects to the execution team.
