Oasis Investment Company (Al Shirawi Group) in Hyderabad seeks an Electrical Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical systems across commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects, handling take-offs, vendor liaison, and tender submissions. Analyze tender documents and coordinate with procurement, design, and planning for pricing accuracy.

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQ for electrical systems such as LV, MV, HV, lighting, power, ELV, and related services.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance and cost effectiveness.
• Prepare cost estimation sheets, comparison statements, and rate build-ups in line with project specs and market benchmarks.
• Coordinate with procurement, design, planning to gather inputs for accurate pricing.
• Develop and maintain estimation tools, cost databases, and vendor/subcontractor records.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings to understand project conditions and challenges.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of technical and commercial bid packages.
• Support the Estimation Manager in value engineering, risk analysis, and final bid strategy.
• Participate in post-tender clarifications and negotiations as required.
• Ensure all estimates comply with standards (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, IEC, IEEE).

Job Description:

The Electrical Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical systems related to commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects. This includes detailed quantity take-offs, cost evaluation, vendor and subcontractor liaison, and ensuring timely submission of tenders and proposals in alignment with client specifications and project requirements.Analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, scope of work, and project timelines for electrical works.

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical systems such as LV, MV, HV systems, lighting, power, ELV, and other related services.
• Source, review, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance and cost effectiveness.

• Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, design, planning) to gather necessary inputs for accurate pricing.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of technical and commercial bid packages.
