Job summary

Mantras2success Consultants in Ahmedabad seeks an Estimation Engineer (LT Panels) to read inquiries, prepare BOMs from SLDs, and craft competitive offers aligning with technical requirements.

You will validate datasheets, coordinate with sales and purchase, and support site visits to understand applications, ensuring on-time submissions and accurate feeder quantities using Insta Quote and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in estimation or design of control panels.
• Knowledge of design and estimation fundamentals.
• Experience in Insta Quote, AutoCAD, MS Office.
• Customer interaction and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the data of inquiry received from inside sales/sales.
• Read SLD and make bills of materials with feeder summary, adhering to SLD or technical requirements
• Best optimised offer preparation and precise make and discount to be considered while making offer
• Submission of offer and tentative GA to inside sales team, demand pending prices from purchase team and datasheets if any new make or item added in BOM
• Validation of technical datasheets of items selected in BOM as well as mapping the items with control philosophy and customer requirement before submission of offers.
• Meetings with customers or site visits for technical knowledge exchange or understanding applications at the offer stage.
• On-time submission of offers and GA as per priority given by senior engineer/manager or sales team
• Commercial comparison and loss factor analysis to improve the winning ratio of orders
• Optimum usage of Insta quote software for error-free submission of BOM, feeder qty, cat references and Qty. to design team and customers.
