Job summary

King Rose Construction seeks a Senior Estimating Coordinator/Quantity Surveyor in Bengaluru to perform detailed quantity take-offs and prepare accurate estimates for interior fit-out projects for U.S. clients.

You will coordinate with vendors, prepare budgets, issue RFIs/ITBs, and support value engineering. The role requires 6–12 years of estimating experience, proficiency in Excel, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 6–12 years of experience in construction estimation.
• Strong ability to perform quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Read and interpret architectural/interior/construction drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong English communication; international clients a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and interior construction drawings.
• Analyze drawings and specifications for interior projects based in New York City.
• Prepare accurate project estimates and cost proposals based on quantity take-offs.
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and clarifications.
• Prepare construction budgets and bid packages.
• Issue RFIs to clients for clarification of drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and send ITBs to subcontractors and vendors.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization during the bidding stage.
• Learn and adapt to new estimation methods, tools, and software as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 6–12 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in interior fit-out or interior construction projects.
• Strong experience in quantity take-offs from construction drawings.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience working with international clients and/or vendors is a plus

Shift Timing: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Work Model: 5 days Work From Office (Saturday & Sunday off)
