Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support our construction team from the office. In this role, you will assist in coordinating and managing project activities while supporting our clients in the United States. You will work closely with project managers, estimators, vendors, and subcontractors to help keep projects organized, well-documented, and moving forward efficiently. A key part of this position is reviewing construction plans and performing material and quantity takeoffs to support estimating, purchasing, and project planning. The ideal candidate should be comfortable reading blueprints, tracking multiple moving parts across several jobs, and maintaining accurate project documentation. This role is best suited for someone who is proactive, accurate, and able to support both the administrative and coordination sides of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and related project documents
- Perform material takeoffs and quantity takeoffs from plans
- Assist project managers and estimators by identifying measurable items from plan sets
- Maintain project files, logs, trackers, and documentation for active jobs
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and other project records
- Support bid preparation and project startup by organizing drawings, scopes, and subcontractor/vendor information
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members to gather pricing, schedule updates, and material information
- Assist with procurement planning by tracking quantities, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Prepare meeting notes, action-item lists, and weekly project updates
- Help monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding items
- Escalate delays, missing information, or documentation gaps to the project manager
- Support project closeout by organizing punch items, warranties, manuals, and closeout documentation
Qualifications
- Experience in construction coordination, estimating support, project administration, or a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Experience performing takeoffs from plans
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and general office/document management software
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced office environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential or commercial construction
- Familiarity with takeoff, estimating, or project management software
- Experience with subcontractor scopes, vendor pricing, and procurement coordination
- General understanding of construction processes, materials, and project phases

Compensation
- ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience
