- Assess current processes, identify gaps and prepare a phased implementation plan.
- Define project, location, equipment, item, vendor and cost-code masters with consistent units of measurement.
- Configure available workflows, forms, approval levels and reports; coordinate vendor development where required.
- Manage data cleaning, migration, user acceptance testing, pilot rollout and issue resolution.
- Train site users, prepare simple SOPs and monitor actual adoption.
- Establish repeatable templates for onboarding new building, mining and infrastructure projects.
2. Data analysis and management reporting
- Build refreshable Excel and Power BI reports using ERP, site and approved external data sources.
- Analyse diesel receipts, issues, stock balances and consumption against equipment hours, kilometres and production.
- Track material receipts, issues, transfers, returns, consumption and stock discrepancies.
- Analyse equipment utilisation, downtime, maintenance expenses and operational cost trends.
- Prepare project-wise and equipment-wise dashboards with exceptions, probable causes and recommended actions.
- Reconcile source records and identify missing entries, duplicates, incorrect units and inconsistent coding.
3. Integration and data controls
- Assess and coordinate supported integrations with GPS/telematics, fuel systems, weighbridges, attendance systems, mobile forms and other operational applications.
- Understand APIs, CSV/Excel imports, database connections and scheduled data refreshes.
- Define data mapping, unique transaction IDs, validation rules, duplicate prevention and reconciliation checks.
- Coordinate access permissions, audit trails, backup arrangements and vendor support.
- Design practical data-entry and synchronisation arrangements for sites with weak connectivity.
Required capabilities
- Hands-on participation in at least one ERP implementation or substantial operational module rollout, with clear ownership of specific deliverables.
- Advanced Excel: Power Query, PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, validation and reconciliation.
- Working SQL knowledge: joins, grouping, filtering and data-quality checks.
- Ability to independently create dashboards in Power BI or a comparable BI tool.
- Ability to document requirements, map processes, conduct testing and train users.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to explain findings clearly to management.
- Comfortable communicating in Hindi and English and working with site teams.

Preferred experience
- Construction, mining, EPC, manufacturing, logistics, fleet management or warehousing. Experience in inventory, procurement, equipment maintenance, fuel management or project-cost modules is particularly relevant.
- Knowledge of our eventual ERP platform is desirable; candidates should state which systems and modules they have implemented.
