Job summary

Purnartha Investment Advisors seeks a seasoned equity research leader to guide in-depth fundamental analysis and investment idea generation.

You will build and review complex financial models, publish detailed research notes, and mentor junior analysts while coordinating with Sales, PMS and Portfolio Management teams to ensure research aligns with client needs.

Job description

Key Responsibilities: Research & Investment Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of listed companies across sectors.
• Build and review financial models (DCF, relative valuation, scenario analysis).
• Generate high-conviction investment ideas.
• Publish detailed research reports and investment notes.
• Track earnings, industry trends, and macroeconomic developments.
• Participate in management meetings and concalls.

Team Management Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of equity research analysts.
• Allocate sector coverage and research assignments.
• Review and validate financial models and reports prepared by team members.
• Mentor junior analysts and support their professional development.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality research output.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with Sales, PMS, and Portfolio Management teams for research alignment.
