Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on listed companies and relevant sectors.


• Analyse financial statements, annual reports, investor presentations and earnings calls.


• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and valuation models.


• Perform company valuation using DCF, comparable-company and other relevant methods.


• Track company announcements, quarterly results, industry developments and market trends.


• Prepare detailed equity research reports and investment notes.


• Develop investment recommendations supported by financial and qualitative analysis.


• Monitor existing coverage and revise estimates, valuations and recommendations.


• Interact with company management, industry experts and other relevant stakeholders.


• Present research findings clearly to senior management or clients.


• Ensure accuracy and proper documentation of all research data.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field.


• CFA qualification or progress toward CFA certification will be preferred.


• Relevant experience in equity research, financial analysis, investment banking or capital markets.


• Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements and corporate finance.


• Practical knowledge of financial modelling and company valuation.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.


• Familiarity with financial databases and research platforms is an advantage.
