Overview

Looking for equity research analyst for one of the Financial Service Industry based out of Delhi location

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about equity research and investments. The individual will be part of investment team and will be tasked with assessing equity investment opportunities in different sectors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of companies within the sector.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry and related markets being researched.
• Develop and maintain financial models.
• Conduct comprehensive industry research and analysis.
• Prepare research reports, presentations and participate in research meet up.
• Keep track of corporate announcements, current policies, and study the impact on equities and portfolio.
• Regularly monitor developments in our investee companies through media updates, corporate announcements, and published results.
• Willing to travel to see factories, meet managements, and attend conferences.
• A deep interest and aptitude for analyzing financial information, and trends that affect companies, industries, and markets on a regional and global scale.

Qualifications

• Educational qualifications can be from any field. A CFA certificate will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in investment research.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, familiar with financial modeling & valuation methods.
• Strong in accounting and investing concepts.
• Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to provide & defend an opinion with management.
