Job summary

Randstad India is seeking an experienced Fundamental Equity Research Analyst to conduct in-depth research on target companies and portfolios, build robust valuation models, and prepare investment notes and sector reports.

The role requires 8–15 years of buy-side or sell-side experience, with CA/CFA/MBA in Finance and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. You will deliver buy/hold/sell recommendations and assist in risk monitoring.

Qualifications

• Domain expertise across Defense, Capital Goods, Pharma, Cement, or Consumer Goods.
• 8–15 years as Fundamental Equity Research Analyst in AIF, Mutual Fund, PMS, or Buy-side/Sell-side.
• CA, CFA, or MBA in Finance.
• Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, valuation) and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on target companies, current portfolio holdings, and investment opportunities.
• Build, update, and maintain dynamic financial models and valuation frameworks.
• Draft comprehensive investment notes, sector reports, and pitch presentations to guide decision-making.
• Provide actionable buy/hold/sell recommendations to the Fund Manager based on deep sector insights.
• Monitor macro developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics across target sectors.
• Assist the Portfolio Manager in overall fund risk management and portfolio monitoring.

• Education: CA, CFA, or MBA in Finance.
• Technical Skills: Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, valuation) and PowerPoint.
