Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Good analytical, quantitative, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on listed and unlisted companies across various sectors.
• Analyze annual reports, investor presentations, quarterly results, management commentaries, industry reports, and other relevant research material.
• Evaluate companies based on business models, financial performance, competitive positioning, valuation, growth prospects, and key investment risks.
• Track sectoral developments, industry trends and emerging investment themes.
• Prepare company initiation notes, sector reports, investment briefs, and research summaries.
• Monitor Indian and global equity markets for key developments and opportunities.
• Collect, organize, and analyze financial and market data using Microsoft Excel.
• Assist in preparing investment presentations, research reports, screening models, and analytical dashboards.
• Maintain research databases and ensure timely updates of company and sector information.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equity Research

• Conduct fundamental research on listed companies, unlisted companies, and PE/VC-backed businesses across various sectors.
• Analyze annual reports, investor presentations, quarterly results, management commentaries, industry reports, and other relevant research material.
• Evaluate companies based on business models, financial performance, competitive positioning, valuation, growth prospects, and key investment risks.
• Track sectoral developments, industry trends, and emerging investment themes.
• Prepare company initiation notes, sector reports, investment briefs, and research summaries.

2. Market Research & Analysis

• Monitor Indian and global equity markets for key developments and emerging investment opportunities.
• Track corporate announcements, regulatory changes, macroeconomic developments, and industry trends impacting businesses.
• Support thematic research and identify long-term investment opportunities across public and private markets.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, organize, and analyze financial and market data using Microsoft Excel.
• Assist in preparing investment presentations, research reports, screening models, and analytical dashboards.
