Job summary

Sharekhan in Bengaluru is seeking a results-driven specialist to grow the client base and activate trading accounts. You will drive revenue across equities, F&O, commodities, and mutual funds, while engaging clients with market insights and promoting advisory products.

You will build and maintain relationships, ensure regular client meetings, and deliver exceptional service as you guide new investors through market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new clients, open and activate trading accounts, and generate revenue from acquisitions.
• Meet targets for broking revenue across equities, futures & options, commodities, and equity products; generate Net Interest Income through Margin Trade Funding (MTF).
• Drive asset gathering and promote advisory products (Investiger, IPOs, ETFs, mutual funds) to clients.
• Profile clients by risk appetite, provide market updates and advice, suggest suitable equity products, execute trades online/on behalf of clients, and confirm orders/trades; aim for daily client meetings.
• Deliver top service and maintain strong client relationships; assist new investors in understanding market dynamics; contribute to branch targets in client acquisition, revenue, and relationship enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition & Acquisition: Actively acquire new clients, open and activate trading accounts, and generate revenue from new acquisitions on an ongoing basis.
• Revenue Generation: Achieve assigned targets for broking revenue from equities, futures & options, commodities, and equity-related products; generate Net Interest Income through Margin Trade Funding (MTF).
• Asset Gathering & Product Promotion: Drive asset gathering and activation of advisory products, Investiger, IPOs, ETFs, mutual funds, and other investment solutions among clients.
• Client Engagement & Advisory: Profile clients based on risk appetite, provide market updates and advice, suggest suitable equity products, execute trades online/on behalf of clients, confirm orders/trades, and ensure at least one client meeting per day.
• Service & Relationship Management: Deliver highest level of service, maintain strong client relationships, assist new investors in understanding market dynamics, and contribute to branch targets in client acquisition, revenue, and relationship enhancement.
