Job summary

Tata Electronics is seeking an experienced technician to manage SMT lines, including Fuji mounter programming, SPI, GKG printer, and AOI equipment. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and line bring-up to ensure on-time production with zero defects.

Responsibilities include optimizing throughput, managing spare parts, and coordinating with line managers to sustain quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SMT machines and Fuji gear.
• Skill in maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to install and bring up lines with minimal downtime.
• Focus on cycle time reduction and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SMT machines including SPI, Fuji, GKG printer, reflow and AOI.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate line installation, alignment, and bring-up activities.
• Ensure all stations produce quality products meeting standards.
• Monitor material workflow and throughput to sustain 100% on‑time delivery.
• Work with line engineers and supervisors to improve quality and reduce defects.

Job description

• Machines Handled SPI,Fuji, GKG Printer, Reflow, and AOI.
• SMT Machine maintenance / Troubleshooting / Calibration.
• Skill knowledge in line Installation, Alignment and bring up activities.
• Skill in FUJI Mounter programming / Cycle time reduction.
• Skill in Breakdown analysis / Troubleshooting & Repair.
• Machine Tossing control and spare part management.
• Ensure all stations are producing product that meets the company s quality standards.
• Evaluate and modify the manufacturing material workflow for increased throughput and productivity if required.
• With the line Engineers/Managers and supervisors, develop and maintain work schedules that support 100% on-time delivery to main lines.
• Work with the line managers, supervisors and direct employees on a daily basis to improve quality levels (Goal: Zero Defect product).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel.
• Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition and available for use when required.
