Job summary

Tata Electronics Limited is seeking an SMT Equipment Maintenance Technician to support its production lines. The role focuses on maintaining SMT equipment including SPI, Fuji, GKG printer, reflow, and AOI, ensuring high-quality output and uptime.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of SMT maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to optimize throughput and reduce cycle times on Fuji mounters. This position is based on-site in India.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of SMT equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience with Fuji mounters and related SMT line equipment is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate and bring equipment back to spec.
• Knowledge of line integration and alignment activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SMT equipment including SPI, Fuji, GKG printer, reflow, and AOI.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration of SMT machines.
• Oversee line tossing and spare parts management.
• Ensure all stations produce products meeting quality standards.
• Evaluate and modify material workflow to increase throughput.
• Collaborate with line engineers and supervisors to maintain on-time delivery.
• Work with managers and staff to strive for zero defects.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and educate personnel.
• Ensure equipment/tools are in good working condition and available.
• Assist with line installation, alignment and bring-up activities.
• Implement Fuji mounter programming to reduce cycle times.
• Conduct breakdown analysis and repair when needed.

Job description

• Machines Handled SPI,Fuji, GKG Printer, Reflow, and AOI.
• SMT Machine maintenance / Troubleshooting / Calibration.
• Machine Tossing control and spare part management.
• Ensure all stations are producing product that meets the company quality standards.
• Evaluate and modify the manufacturing material workflow for increased throughput and productivity if required.
• With the line Engineers/Managers and supervisors, develop and maintain work schedules that support 100% on-time delivery to main lines.
• Work with the line managers, supervisors and direct employees on a daily basis to improve quality levels (Goal: Zero Defect product).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel.
• Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition and available for use when required.
• Skill knowledge in line Installation, Alignment and bring up activities.
• Skill in FUJI Mounter programming / Cycle time reduction.
• Skill in Breakdown analysis / Troubleshooting & Repair.
