Job summary

DAIKIN is seeking maintenance-focused personnel in India to perform preventive maintenance on SMT equipment, including Solder Paste Printer, Pick & Place, and Reflow Oven. The role involves ensuring proper grounding, inspecting mechanical components, and coordinating with electrical/controls engineers to reduce downtime.

Candidates should be proficient with PPT/Excel and support new machine commissioning, spare parts planning, and maintenance prevention, with strong attention to safety and

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic circuits and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of material selection for tooling and parts.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance of SMT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all machines are properly grounded/earthed to prevent ESD damage.
• Execute daily/monthly PM for SMT equipment including printer and pick & place.
• Inspect and maintain conveyors, loaders, feeders, belts, shafts, cylinders and guides.
• Complete PM checklists and document results.
• Attend machine breakdowns and minimize downtime; troubleshoot alignment issues and nozzle problems.
• Monitor spare parts consumption and assist inventory planning.
• Use PPT/Excel for system work and support new machine commissioning.

Job description

Good Knolwdge in Hydraulic circuits,Mechanical drawing,Material selection.

1. Ensure all machines are properly grounded/earthed to prevent ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) damage to the circuit boards being manufactured.
2. Execute Daily /monthly PM for SMT equipment.Solder Paste Printer,Pick & Place Machines,Reflow Oven
3. Conveyor systems,Loader / UnloaderInspect and maintain mechanical components Feeders, belts, bearings, shafts, cylinders,Linear guides, ball screws, clampsNozzles, vacuum systems.
4. Ensure PM checklists are completed and documented
5. Attend machine breakdowns and minimize downtime.Troubleshoot and rectify: Feeder jamming,Conveyor alignment issues,Nozzle pick/drop problems,Camera / mechanical alignment issues,Coordinate with electrical / controls engineers when required.
6. Monitor critical mechanical spare parts consumption.
7. Support spare identification, replacement planning, and inventory control.
8. Use proper maintenance tools and measuring instruments safely.
9. System work (PPT,Excel). Responsible/Support for New machine comissioning, Trial, New machine spare parts planning and Maintenance prevention
