Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in assembly industries.
  • Proven shopfloor team management experience.
  • Hands-on exposure to lean production systems and supply chain concepts.
  • Knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with PDCA, SWIP, and structured problem-solving methods.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Awareness of OHS regulations and production quality metrics.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and 6 days a week.

Job Summary

Could you be the full-time EPU Manager in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, were looking for

Youll play a key role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in our Motor Assembly production unit. Day-to-day, youll work closely with cross-functional teams (such as supply chain, quality, and engineering), train and coach team members, and ensure the smooth execution of production plans, and much more.

Youll specifically take care of deploying APSYS tools (Alstom Performance System) across the shopfloor, but also managing workforce planning and driving SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) performance.

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, or related disciplines).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in assembly industries such as automotive, railways, commercial vehicles, or other manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven experience in shopfloor team management.
  • Hands-on exposure to lean production systems and foundational supply chain concepts.
  • Knowledge of production and quality tools, including PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with PDCA, SWIP, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Awareness of OHS regulations and production quality metrics.
  • Flexibility to work in a shift-based schedule and availability to work 6 days a week.
