Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an expert to lead environment planning and management across development, testing, and production landscapes in Kolkata. The role emphasizes defining environment strategies, governance, provisioning, and ongoing stability to support release schedules.

You will coordinate across development, testing, release, infrastructure, and support teams, monitor health and performance, manage data provisioning and privacy controls, and drive capacity planning and data

Responsibilities

• Define and manage nonproduction and production environments.
• Create environment strategies, standards, and governance processes.
• Ensure environment availability according to project and release schedules.
• Maintain environment roadmaps and capacity plans.
• Coordinate provisioning of servers, databases, middleware, and cloud resources.
• Ensure environments are configured consistently across the application lifecycle.
• Manage environment refreshes, cloning, and data migrations.
• Oversee infrastructure and application configuration management.
• Manage environment booking and allocation across multiple projects and teams.
• Resolve environment conflicts and competing priorities.
• Coordinate with development, testing, release, infrastructure, and support teams.
• Monitor environment health, performance, and utilization.
• Ensure environments meet performance, capacity, and availability requirements.
• Troubleshoot environment-related issues and coordinate resolution.
• Track incidents affecting environment availability.
• Coordinate test data provisioning and refresh activities.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Manage data masking and anonymization processes.
