Lloyd’s Register in Mumbai seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, delivering complex, cross-functional programmes with a focus on business outcomes and benefits realisation.

You will collaborate across functions, manage risks, and apply Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methods while driving change management to realise measurable value for a global organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management within a global/complex environment.
• Proven track record in business/organisational transformation programmes.
• Ability to apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies pragmatically.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that drive strategic change across Lloyd’s Register. This role focuses on delivering complex, cross-functional transformation programmes spanning business processes, operating models, people, and technology - with a strong emphasis on business outcomes and benefits realisation, not just project delivery.

This role is suited to candidates with experience in enterprise or organisational transformation, rather than those whose background is primarily in IT system or product delivery.

The role

• Deliver Strategic Projects: Lead the end-to-end delivery of global projects aligned with LR’s transformation agenda, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with global teams including Portfolio Management, Change Management, and Business Analysis to ensure cohesive planning, execution, and benefit realization.
• Engage Stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion Best Practices: Apply and promote modern project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery frameworks.
• Manage Risk & Governance: Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring compliance with LR’s governance standards and reporting requirements.
• Support Change & Adoption: Work closely with Change Managers to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
• Contribute to a Learning Culture: Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and support the development of project management capabilities across the organization.

What You Bring

• Solid experience (typically 5+ years) in project management, in a global or complex organizational environment.
• Demonstrable experience in business / organisational transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and the ability to apply them pragmatically.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with change management and business analysis functions is highly desirable.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and value delivery.
• Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or AgilePM are advantageous.
