Job description

As a GEL Technician, your responsibilities encompass supporting lab activities in terms of equipment maintenance, calibration, spares management, procurement of parts, inventory logistic management, housekeeping, minor project undertaking, audits and continual improvements.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Experience with tools used in semiconductor labs such as Temperature chamber, Hast chamber, Soak chamber, Tester, Reflow oven, Temp cycle, THB, bend tester, CSAM, Shock tester, X-section, FTIR, SEM, 2D/3D X‑ray, FIB etc.
• Operate and maintain analytical equipment in Reliability.
• Oversee daily maintenance and operation of Reliability lab equipment and consumables.
• Responsible for daily tracking and updating for lab operation progress for further review.
• Participate in quality, productivity and cost improvement projects in Reliability lab.
• Work as a team with fellow members in a safe, cohesive and collaborative way.
• Always think, converse and behave in a positive manner with a growth mindset.
• Share knowledge, co‑work and behave professionally even under stress.
• Be resourceful and look for solutions with minimum supervision.
• Make due diligence before making decisions and call out issues for attention if required.
• Knowledge about ESD and Clean room.

Requirements

• 4-5 year experience with Diploma in Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, computer science, mechatronics engineering field.
• Candidate with experience supporting lab, reliability & failure analysis activities is highly encouraged.
• Basic knowledge to calibration & preventive maintenances & calibration.
• Basic knowledge about ISO/IEC std 17025 for mechanical, Electrical, Thermal etc. parameters.
• Work time flexibility in shift & minimum travel of 0 to 30%.
