Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic senior software engineer to join us as Team Lead, Software Engineering and lead Engineering team units, creating a culture of Engineering Excellence both inside and outside the organisation. This role is central to our organisation’s success as a market leader and thought innovator in driving cutting-edge Engineering practices. You will be responsible for building the software that powers the platform supporting the Indian hyperscale cloud ecosystem.

You will lead a young team, providing not only technical guidance but also mentorship for their career development.

Responsibilities

• Leading frontend and backend Engineering teams with tactical and operational oversight.
• Ensuring consistent and predictable Product delivery and quality through sound SDLC standards, practices, and processes.
• Reviewing daily Engineering activities and creating action plans to address issues.
• Guiding, implementing, and building solutions by creating/reviewing technology trends, architectures, documentation, coding standards, sprints, release processes, and quality standards.
• Participating in Product strategy with internal stakeholders responsible for platform development.
• Exploring and validating new technologies, patterns, and practices for software development.

Requirements

This role requires proven experience and spontaneous problem-solving ability. We will evaluate your candidature based on:

• 5+ years of experience in Product development and software Engineering.
• A Product-driven mindset and problem-solving approach.
• Strong leadership skills applicable within and across functions.
• Experience in developing solutions, architectures, and SDLC practices.
• Experience or aptitude with open-source technologies and on-premise deployments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and change management.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

A proven track record in managing Engineering teams is a bonus.
