Brief About the Client:
One of our clients, a leading global energy and low-carbon solutions organization, is looking to hire a Tech Lead – Data & AI to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions. The role will drive end-to-end delivery across data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML while ensuring scalable architecture, governance, security, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data pipelines, data products, analytics solutions, and AI/ML use cases, ensuring quality, timelines, and delivery performance.
• Define scalable and maintainable Data & AI solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and contribute to the evolution of data and AI platforms.
• Drive the industrialization of solutions from build to run through DevOps/MLOps, automation, production readiness, and operational stability.
• Lead and mentor Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and AI specialists while coordinating closely with Product Owners, Data Governance, and platform teams.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, architecture, and Responsible AI standards across Data & AI solutions.
• Partner with global teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions and deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Data & AI delivery, including experience in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Data Engineering and pipelines, including Python, Databricks, PySpark, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, analytics and BI environments, and cloud/data platforms, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
• Proven experience in solution architecture, DevOps/MLOps, platform engineering, and production-grade Data & AI deployments.
• Experience managing and mentoring Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and AI specialists, with strong stakeholder management and delivery orientation.
