Job summary

Seven Seas Hotel in New Delhi seeks an experienced Engineering Supervisor to manage daily engineering operations, preventive maintenance, and critical repairs across hotel facilities. You will lead teams, inspect guest areas, and safeguard uptime of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in hospitality engineering, with strong diagnostic skills in HVAC, HT/LT distribution, DG sets, and BMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience in hospitality (4/5-star hotel preferred).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, DG sets, and BMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, elevators, and kitchen equipment.
• Execute and track Preventive Maintenance Program for plant and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and Fire Life Safety systems in Delhi NCR.

Seven Seas Hotel is an upscale luxury hotel in Rohini, New Delhi, renowned for its 100 plush guest rooms, extensive banqueting and wedding space (over 100,000 sq. ft.), fine-dining venues, outdoor pool, and wellness amenities. Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily engineering operations, preventive maintenance programs, and technical repair work across the hotel premises. Below list is not inclusive of the role and can change according to requirement:

1. Operations & Technical Leadership

• Oversee daily maintenance activities covering HVAC systems, electrical setups, plumbing, boilers, laundry equipment, elevators, and kitchen equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, banquet halls, and back-of-house facilities to identify and fix technical issues promptly.

2. Preventive Maintenance

• Execute and track the hotels Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) for all plant, machinery, and equipment.
• Perform routine testing of critical backup systems, including DG sets, UPS systems, fire pumps, and emergency lighting.

3. Safety, Compliance & Fire Life Safety (FLS)

• Ensure full compliance with local safety standards, government regulations, environmental norms, and hospitality codes in Delhi NCR.
• Oversee Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, smoke detectors, and emergency hydrants.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate will ensure that electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, safety, and operational systems function seamlessly to deliver an uninterrupted, top-tier guest experience.

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on engineering experience in the hospitality industry (4-star / 5-star hotel background preferred).
• Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in HVAC (Chillers/AHUs), HT/LT electrical distribution, plumbing, DG sets, and BMS (Building Management Systems).
• Certifications: Recognized safety or technical certifications (e.g., HT license) are an added advantage.
• Soft Skills: Good communication skills in Hindi and English, strong leadership capabilities, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
