Job summary

VGreen Technology Solutions (VGreenTEK) seeks an Engineering Manager to lead project delivery for IT software development in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Immediate joining, full-time, on-site work from office, with 10+ years in IT delivery and engineering management.

• Own end-to-end software delivery across Scrum pods, including planning, execution, milestones, and Agile ceremonies.
• Manage 20+ member cross-functional delivery organizations, coordinate dependencies, remove blockers.
• Provide day-to-day direction to QA Lead, DevOps Lead, and pods for coordinated delivery.
• Own delivery risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies; drive corrective actions for quality and schedule.
• Experience with CSM/SAFe and government/public-sector projects is a plus; data-migration workstreams are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across multiple pods and Scrum ceremonies.
• Allocate resources across pods and manage dependencies to meet milestones.
• Provide leadership to QA, DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment teams.
• Manage risks, issues, blockers, and governance, reporting velocity and progress.

Department: Software Development

Required Skills:

• Delivery & Agile Management: Own end-to-end software delivery across all Scrum pods, including sprint/iteration planning, execution, progress tracking, milestone management, delivery commitments, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives; strong experience managing Agile delivery at multi‑team scale.
• Resource & Cross‑Pod Management: Allocate resources and capacity across multiple pods based on subsystem/module ownership and changing priorities; manage 20+ member cross‑functional delivery organizations, coordinate dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure teams have the required priorities, resources, and support.
• People & Team Leadership: Lead team performance and growth through mentorship, performance feedback, capability development, and continuous improvement; provide day‑to‑day direction to the QA Lead, DevOps Lead, and delivery pods, ensuring effective coordination across development, QA, CI/CD, infrastructure, deployment, and release activities.
• Risk, Quality & Delivery Governance: Own day‑to‑day delivery risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies; resolve at pod level or elevate to the Engineering Leader with clear options; drive corrective actions and ensure secure, high-quality, production‑ready delivery within agreed scope, schedule, resources, and quality objectives; provide delivery status reports, velocity metrics, and milestone tracking.
• Tools, Qualifications & Additional Expertise: Advanced Jira administration and reporting and strong Confluence documentation practices; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM preferred. Experience with CSM/SAFe, government/public‑sector project delivery, and dedicated data‑migration workstreams is an added advantage. Must also own the Data Migration pod's delivery cadence alongside three application‑development pods.
