Qualifications

  • Engineering graduate with a focus on Mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in wellsite Package manufacturing within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven track record in handling projects for major GCC Oil & Gas operators.
  • Must possess people management and leadership skills, commercial awareness and quality systems experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high levels of customer service and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate engineering assignments across projects, providing technical support and applying standards.
  • Develop conceptual and preliminary engineering, manage design, budgets, schedules, and productivity analyses.
  • Ensure plant design is fit for purpose, on time and within budget.
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary technical team and foster collaboration.
  • Coordinate inter-discipline activities and arbitration between disciplines when conflicts arise.
  • Liaise with other departments to align decisions with project strategy.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in process package equipment manufacturing for the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will lead high-profile projects for major oil companies and oversee engineering activities from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating engineering activities within the organization. This leadership position involves managing a team of engineers, guiding them through projects from conception to completion. The Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and managerial skills, as the manager not only needs to possess in-depth knowledge of the engineering discipline but also must lead the team effectively, foster innovation, and align engineering efforts with the company's strategic goals.


  • Manage and coordinate engineering assignments relates to Projects including planning, developing, designing, and construction or any other aspect of engineering work. Provide technical information and support to other engineering and technical staff applying standards, processes and techniques.
  • Develops conceptual and preliminary engineering and design, Manages, coordinates, and facilitates the engineering, design, Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation to business development and operations personnel concerning the development, engineering, design and implementation of project, Develops project plans, schedules, and cost estimates, prepares and manages project budgets and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses. Reports project success and challenges to management. Capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Ensure that plant design is fit for purpose, completed on time, and within budget.
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary technical team, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Anticipate and address potential problems, reacting quickly to minimize impact on project timelines or quality.
  • Ensure that working procedures are issued and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop a plan with the Engineering Contractor to ensure timely issuance of all deliverables, regularly checking progress.
  • Organize and control regular quality checks on project deliverables.
  • Ensure that design work is aligned with pre-project objectives and requirements.
  • Organize, control, and check inter-discipline coordination and collaboration with other project sections.
  • Make necessary technical arbitration between disciplines in the event of conflicts, keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Liaise with other departments regularly, especially when decisions impact overall project strategy.

What we are looking for:
