Job summary

Primum Talent Group is seeking a Chemical/Mechanical Engineering graduate to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon consulting, and EPC design environments.

You will drive Conceptual and FEED studies, review deliverables for quality, and manage contracts with clients and stakeholders, while contributing to business development and resource development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in Oil & Gas projects.
• Knowledge of conceptual studies, FEED, and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Lead Conceptual and FEED Studies and provide technical inputs.
• Review engineering deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Manage engineering contracts and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Support proposals and provide technical inputs for business development.
• Participate in technical discussions and travel as required.
• Develop, train, and manage engineering resources.
• Plan and schedule engineering activities and manage resources.
• Supervise and coordinate engineering resources to meet project needs.
• Manage project cost estimates and Basis of Design documents.
• Identify project changes and evaluate change requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Lead Conceptual and FEED Studies and provide technical inputs and engineering proposals.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage engineering contracts and coordinate with clients and other stakeholders.
• Support proposals and provide technical inputs for business development activities.
• Participate in technical discussions and travel as required.
• Develop, train, and manage engineering resources.
• Handle planning and scheduling of engineering activities.
• Manage team resources and coordinate engineering manpower across disciplines.
• Supervise and coordinate engineering resources to meet project requirements.
• Manage project cost estimates and Basis of Design documents.
• Identify project changes and participate in evaluating change requests.

Essential Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Oil & Gas Field Development.
• Experience in Process Simulation and Conceptual Studies.
• Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Heat & Mass Balance (HMB), and P&IDs.
• Specification and sizing of process equipment.
• Preparation/specification of requirements for bought-out items.
• Knowledge of Hydraulics and Flow Assurance Studies.
• Experience in Process Safety Studies for Oil & Gas facilities.
• Experience in Commissioning and Troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Offshore Platforms and Floating Production systems will be an added advantage.
• Engineering resource development and management.

Leadership & Communication Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients/customers.
• Strong leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of executing modification projects, from concept development and selection through final completion.
• Strong team management, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
