Job summary

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee the department in line with Hyatt's standards, ensuring efficient operations and optimal condition of equipment, buildings and grounds. You will support all operating departments and help deliver reliable service to guests and staff.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, project work, and coordination with other hotel teams to meet guest, employee and owner expectations.

Qualifications

• Ideally the candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
• Knowledge in preventive maintenance programme and special projects will be valuable.
• Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• The Engineering Manager is responsible to assist the Director of Engineering in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department.
• Maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition to support all operating departments.

You will be responsible forthe efficient running ofthe department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies andbrand standards, whilst meetingemployee, guest and owner expectations.
