Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) in Chennai is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead/Manager to oversee day-to-day engineering operations and lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering scalable software solutions.

You will guide sprint planning, coordinate with Product and Leadership, review designs, and drive improvements in delivery quality and engineering efficiency while balancing technical leadership with people management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1+ years in engineering leadership or team management.
• Strong understanding of software development, system design and cloud technologies.
• Experience managing Agile/Scrum teams.
• Excellent communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance technical leadership with people and project management.
