Our client is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team building AI-enabled SaaS products for enterprise finance automation. This role combines strong people leadership with deep technical expertise across full-stack engineering, cloud-native architecture, and applied AI systems. The ideal candidate will have experience managing engineering teams while remaining hands‑on enough to guide architecture, technical decision-making, and delivery execution.
You will work closely with Product, AI/ML, and business teams to build scalable enterprise‑grade applications leveraging LLMs, generative AI, and modern cloud infrastructure. This is an opportunity to help scale both the engineering organization and the product platform in a fast‑paced startup environment.
Salary Range: ₹ 45-55 Lacs PA
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full‑stack engineers
- Provide technical guidance across architecture, design, development, and deployment
- Drive engineering excellence across cloud‑native SaaS applications and AI‑enabled product capabilities
- Own end‑to‑end delivery and execution of critical product initiatives
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with customer requirements
- Balance execution speed with engineering quality and long‑term scalability
- Partner closely with Product, AI/ML, and business stakeholders to define priorities and roadmap execution
- Work across distributed teams and time zones to deliver business impact
- Champion best practices around coding standards, CI/CD, DevOps, Agile methodologies, code reviews, and testing
- Drive adoption of modern AI engineering tools, frameworks, and development workflows
- Ensure platform reliability, monitoring, security, observability, and high availability across cloud infrastructure
- Support scalable multi‑tenant SaaS architecture and operational excellence
- Recruit and develop strong engineering talent
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, learning, and collaboration
- Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and career growth support
- Communicate technical direction, delivery status, and risks effectively to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Demonstrate responsiveness, accountability, and execution focus
- 10+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience building scalable enterprise products
- 2+ years of engineering management experience leading SaaS engineering teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong experience with modern full‑stack technologies including Node.js, React.js/TypeScript, and Python
- Practical experience building AI/ML‑enabled applications using LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows
- Hands‑on experience integrating LLMs and embedding‑based retrieval systems into production SaaS platforms
- Strong programming expertise in Python, REST APIs, FastAPI, JSON, and scripting
- Experience working with AWS or other commercial cloud platforms
- Strong background in distributed systems, scalable microservices, system design, and data modeling
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale high‑performing engineering teams
- Strong understanding of Agile development and product delivery practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or similar tools
- Exposure to deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Prior experience in FinTech, finance automation, or enterprise workflow platforms
- Familiarity with emerging GenAI tools and AI engineering ecosystems
- Experience scaling engineering organizations within startup or growth‑stage environments
- Exposure to enterprise integrations including SSO, email systems, and multi‑tenant SaaS architectures
- A strong engineering leader who can balance strategy with hands‑on execution
- Someone comfortable managing both people and technical complexity
