Job summary

MSC TRANSFORMERS PVT LTD is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead transformer design projects in Pune. The role requires designing distribution and power transformers up to 10 MVA, 33 kV class, and preparing detailed calculations, GA drawings, BOMs, and technical documents.

The candidate must have IS 1180/IEC standards knowledge and hands-on AutoCAD experience, with 3–10+ years in transformer design.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–10+ years of experience in Transformer Design.
• Knowledge of IS 1180, IEC standards, AutoCAD, and transformer design calculations.
• Experience in Distribution and Power Transformer design is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design distribution & power transformers (up to 10 MVA, 33 kV class).
• Prepare design calculations, GA drawings, BOMs, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, and QA teams.
• Support tendering, testing, inspections, and manufacturing activities.
• Optimize designs for performance, efficiency, and cost.
