Job summary

Engicon Airtech in Pune, India, seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong technical sales aptitude to handle customer enquiries, perform fan and HVAC-related calculations, and prepare technical data sheets and quotations. You will liaise with design, production and commercial teams to deliver timely responses and support pre- and post-sales activities.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fifteen years of experience in Technical Sales, Application Engineering, or Sales Support (preferred).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer-handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Study customer enquiries and understand technical requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations for fan selection and design.
• Prepare technical data sheets, techno-commercial quotations, price schedules, and related documentation.
• Prepare and submit all technical and commercial documents required by customers and internal departments.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely responses.
• Assist the sales team in product selection, application engineering, and customer presentations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical training sessions for customers, dealers, and internal teams.
• Support marketing activities, including exhibitions, seminars, and promotional events.
• Follow up on quotations and provide technical clarifications to customers.
• Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, and customer communications.
