Job summary

You will determine cutting speeds, feeds, and strategies to improve productivity and reduce cycle times, while supporting new product development through machining trials.

Collaborate with tooling suppliers to select tools and conduct trials aimed at productivity improvements and process optimization onsite in Bengaluru.

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling & turning.

Optimize machining parameters to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.

Support new product development (NPD) activities through process development and machining trials.

Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, based on component geometry and material.

Determine cutting speeds, feeds, depth of cut, and machining strategies.

Work closely with tooling suppliers for tool trials and productivity improvements.
