Job summary

Eaton in Hadapsar, Pune invites engineers to join its electro-mechanical design team. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings for components, sub-assemblies and assemblies supporting NPI, Sustaining and NTI projects.

You will mentor PLC team members on Enovia and SAP, drive automation and AI mindset across cross‑functional groups, and contribute to DFMEA, prototype building and testing of small parts for new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical product design and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience on CAD software with parametric modeling, drawing detailing & assembly build-up (UGNX/SolidWorks/Creo Parametric).
• Understanding of PLM tools like Enovia and SAP (Enovia exp. desirable).
• Understanding of automations, AI-powered tools and algorithms.
• Experience in plastic part & sheet metal part design and associated manufacturing processes.
• Concept building & design thinking; collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of components, sub-assemblies and assemblies for NPI, Sustaining and NTI projects.

What you’ll do:The main focus will be development of 3D models and 2D drawings of components , sub-assemblies and assemblies to support NPI , Sustaining and NTI projects. Must have good understanding of mechanical engg concepts and CAD drawings + 3D models of electrical and mechanical components.2.
