Job summary

Eaton in India seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop 3D models and 2D drawings of sheet metal and busbar components for LV systems and enclosures, and to support Sustaining and NPI projects.

You will modify designs for manufacturability, apply GD&T, work with PLM tools like Model Manager and SAP, and assist in engineering analyses, with adherence to IEC 61439 and related standards.

Qualifications

• B.E. Mechanical with 1–3 years of experience.
• Hands-on in copper busbar and sheet metal design.
• Strong skills in 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Familiar with GD&T and PLM process implementation.
• Experience with SAP or Model Manager for design release and change management.

Responsibilities

• Support design modification activities for Low Voltage Systems and Enclosures.

What you’ll do:Position’s main focus will be development of 3D models and 2D drawings of sheet metal and busbar components, sub-assemblies and assemblies to support Sustaining and NPI projects.\"We are seeking a motivated individual to support the development and maintenance of Low Voltage Systems and Enclosures. Candidate should be able to do copper busbar and sheet metal design modifications efficiently, contributing to product improvements through collaboration, industrialization, documentation, and technical support.
