Job summary

Gujarat Fluorochemicals is seeking a maintenance operations professional in Dahej to oversee uptime and reliability of utilities and infrastructure. You will manage planning, scheduling and manpower, while ensuring safe execution of maintenance tasks and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires familiarity with machinery and production processes, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement in a high-demand plant environment.

Qualifications

• Manage maintenance operations to reduce breakdowns and downtime and optimize site utilities.

• Develop and follow Job Safety Analysis for hazardous tasks.
• Establish and maintain clean, secure administration systems for facilities.
• Provide feedback on hazards and safety issues affecting service delivery.

Role & responsibilities

• Managing maintenance operations for reducing breakdown / downtime & enhancing operational effectiveness of equipment and site & manpower management of all utility and infrastructural facilities
• Implementing preventive, planned and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime of general utilities and installations
• Handling the complete maintenance entailing planning and scheduling, resource utilization and manpower management.
• Develop and adhere to Job Safety Analysis in regards to all potentially hazardous tasks.
• Establish and maintain administration systems, house keeping, storage and work areas in a clean, tidy and secure condition of all utility and infrastructural facilities
• Proactively provide feedback to management regarding hazards in the workplace and any other health, safety and security issues which may have impact on the service delivery of the contract and Company business
• To maintain safety & statutory norms.

Preferred candidate profile

• Ability to prepare equipment reports, failure analysis and track equipment uptime status
• Ability to understand and be familiar with general maintenance work flow processes, procedures and systems
• Knowledge of production machinery and techniques.
• Ability to influence and strong accountability.
