Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking an experienced EPC Tendering Lead for Substations in Pune. You will manage the tendering department, coordinate design teams and external vendors, and ensure timely, cost-effective proposals for substation EPC projects.

You will review specifications, conduct site visits, and negotiate with suppliers, while shaping schedules, BOQs, and risk assessments to win bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in EPC tendering for substations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and project tools.

Responsibilities

• Managing EPC Tendering Dept.
• Review and Summary for Substation Tender Document/Specification
• Attending Site Visits and client meetings for tendering
• Define & evaluating competitors and competitive position
• Prepare overall tendering schedule for Substation EPC tender
• Define BOQ and scope to request quotations from vendors/sub-contractors
• Coordinate with design team/sub-contractors to prepare basic design and BOQ
• Issue inquiries, evaluate quotations, negotiate with sub-vendors
• Prepare proposal documents with project schedules, org charts, technical data
• Costing/budgeting for complete Substation EPC project
• Evaluate project risk
• Review tender results and hand over to project team

• Attending the Site Visit, Kick off meeting and meeting with Client forTendering


• Define & Evaluating Competitors / competitive position


• Making overall tendering schedule for Substation EPC tender.


• BOQ and Work Scope define to request quotation to vendors andsub-contractors and review for final BOQ received from Design team.


• Coordination with Tendering design team or sub-contractors to make Basicdesign and BOQ for tendering


• Making Inquiry, receiving & clarification quotation and negotiationwith sub-vendor and contractors


• Making proposal document (Overall project schedule, organization chart,technical data and drawing received from Vendors and other required documentfor Tender).


• Costing / budgetary for complete Substation EPC project


• Evaluate project risk


• Review tender result / Hand-over successful bid to the project team.
